Austics launched its online store on the 17 July 2015 to provide a platform for customers to buy our products quick and easily. An online store is the best solution for launching a fresh, new brand in the market that is without any track record. We chose the online store instead of a brick and mortar retail store: access to global community and low capital investment. Gone are the days when one requires a massive advertising budget to promote a brand and struggle to get products into a retail store. We also have flexibility with our stock levels as we can safety start with levels of stock we can afford to invest in. All our marketing efforts are organic as we have our own equity and utilize digital marketing to ensure brand visibility and sales. Our social media engagement coupled with direct selling and customer relationship management is paying off.

Initially we wanted to utilize shopify but the monthly cost burden was a deterrent. Eventfully we turned towards WordPress (content management system) and utilized a savy shopping cart called woo-commerce and thus we are able to provide the best features that come with modern online shopping convenience and user profile login for repeat purchases. Our online store provides a safe secure shopping experience for users as it is protected by the Thawte SSL certificate which ensures that your details are safe and secure and not intercepted by a third party. Our payment gateway is payfast, which allows shoppers to commit payment on a familiar platform they may have come across on their previous transactions at other e-commerce sites. Payment methods include: credit/cheque; EFT from all South African banks; bitcoin; debit card with payD and bitcoin.
We deliver anywhere in South Africa using Fastway couriers within 3 working days. Our national flat rate is R59,28 and a local rate is R36,48 around Johannesburg and Ekurhuleni.
